History
CD-Lab was founded in 1997 with a focus towards post production digital audio mastering and CD duplication. A digital audio mastering studio was constructed and the doors were opened in April of 1998. In addition to this service, CD-Lab offered CD duplication to data customers in Phoenix and also on the Internet.
By the fall of 1998 it was obvious there was a huge demand for CD duplication services and equipment. Automated equipment was purchased and the focus shifted from audio mastering to CD duplication and the sale of high-end duplication equipment. Since that time the duplication of discs has evolved into color printing and DVD production while the sale of equipment has expanded to include lower cost towers and print solutions.
In 2002 CD-Lab became the only direct distributor for Mitsui media in Arizona. The line card now includes equipment from Rimage, Microboards and Primera while the consumables lineup includes Mitsui (MAM-A), Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim and a complete selection of packaging options.
